Let me just answer anonymously today. I work here as part of the development team. I am a junior DBA and I want to apologize on behalf of the Everyknows Community team. Our website was not hacked. We ran an online parallel test on the server with a script without backing up the database or running it offline. As a result of bad logic in our SQL, it negatively affected all the rows in our answers table. We have no other choice than to restore from our last backup in which data was lost during the procedure.
We are very sorry for our incompetent and whatever this has caused you. Please accept our apology, we promise it won’t happen again.
Best regards, Everyknows team.
