Every step or decision taken by any candidate during this period certainly has a way it will affect the election and their chances of winning. Therefore, his journey to the U.S will certainly change something. 
The only thing we the voters are not sure of is how it will affect them.

I think go to sell himself to Nigerias in diaspora and the us Congress men wouldn't have any effect on the election, because last time i checked they are not going to be voting from the Us

Not really. i only feel it proves to us that the government in place is just fooling around when they made the statement that atiku can set foot on the US soil

To a great extent it has reshapen the mindset of many people about him. Some persons may have liked him but still had doubts in their minds... Going to the US has finally settled their doubts. On the other hand, it may have made the ruling party to loose some supporters who earlier believed that Atiku can never enter the US...
